When we lived in southern Alberta I worked for the school division there as a special needs care provider to two severely mentally handicapped brothers. We got to know their family as well.
I sang to Jacob a lot...he loved to hear singing of any kind...it always soothed him.
Jesus loves you up close and personal now Jacob!
Jacob and his parents were three of seven that perished in a very tragic car crash in Colorado this week.
My prayers go out to the 5 children they still have at home in Vauxhall...one of whom was the other boy I worked with...we are not sure if we'll be able to get to the funeral. We didn't know the other families but our thoughts and prayers go out to them as well.

That is so sad Evi! Oh that the Lord would comfort as only He can. We pray too that His people would be there to support and encourage one another.
I'm so glad that you were there to be a shining example of God's love to Jacob and his family - and to the whole community. We don't need to wonder about the ways that God opens up places of ministry for His servant-hearted children!
