I've been doing a word study on cynicism, skepticism...and the like. I admit that very much of my character includes elements of both of these.
I am curious though...because I ALSO have joy...and contentment and peace in my soul.
I don't compartmentalize these either...I can experience them all at the same time.
I do experience ungodly criticism at times...and daily confess this to my Lord.
What do you think?

Here comes some deep theology--are you ready--I think that as long as you are recognizing and confessing, you're good!
I've learned that for me, I have to keep it at a very basic level because I can study and stew in stuff like this for just about forever--all for the sake of one thing--change! (Not that I don't love to study and stew, because you know I do!)
