yesterday

have you ever wondered about the title of my blog...
keeping up with yesterday...
It seems as though the path our life is on has many turns, bumps, rocks and ankle spraining potholes. Don't get me wrong though, we love a good hike...invigorating journey that gets us good and winded...legs burning with every new peak we conquer.
At the same time though we tend to miss the scenery along the way...that is what this blog is all about. I come here at times when I have a moment to catch a breath on the journey...when I can just lean into my back pack, grab a water bottle and turn around to see the path that I have most recently conquered.

We are currently forging onward on an upward stretch...again...an undiscovered, unexpected course.

I got a new job. In the same school as Tim!
We will be transferring the kids to the school as well and we will ALL be commuting until we can find...another...new...place...to...live....

I keep clicking the enter button because I don't know what else to say...I'll just let that sink in for a bit and wait for the comments.

I'm so glad to hear from you, Evi! I've missed you and thought of you often.

Congratulations on the new job--how cool is it to work at the same place as your husband.

I know it will probably be tough to make the commute...and tough to find a new place to settle and live...but God has a purpose in all of this!!! He will used it for your benefit and His glory.

Happy hiking, my sweet bloggy friend!

Hey Evi! Good to hear from you! Congratulations on the jobs! Is this the one you were talking about earlier? To a small town not too far away? Good luck with your house hunting and commuting.

And hey, I ventured onto packrat today for the first time in months! lol It's very different now! What do you think the castle from Ancient Realms is worth? I've got someone offering me 3K. Let me know!

Congratulations on getting the job - without even so much as an interview! You are THAT good, I know! The commuting part won't be that much fun, especially if we still get cold and snowy days. But that too shall pass. What's important is that you are in God's Will and are together as a family. I know that the Lord has the place you will be living all picked out already. He'll let you know in His good timing. We'll miss you here for sure, but you are actually close enough for us to drive out and visit for a day or week-end!
Love always!

Hello Again!!

Sounds like a positive turn! More time together! I don't know about your kids, but sometimes our best talk time comes on the longer rides we take!

Looking forward to your next update!
